Pat Tull Memorial Scholarship
for Oklahoma Women Business Owners
NAWBO Central Oklahoma members have established the "Pat Tull Memorial Scholarship for Oklahoma Women Business Owners" to assist women who are just starting their businesses.
Honoring charter member Pat Tull, this scholarship provides assistance to women just starting their businesses. Pat started her handwriting analysis/forensic document examiner business in the 1970s - when few women were business executives - and much fewer were business owners. She was a strong proponent of mentoring and man NAWBO members valued Pat's dedication and support.
The call for scholarship applicants takes place once a year, inviting women who are just building their business concept or in their first two years of business to apply. Contact Denise Hartley, NAWBO's executive director, for more information. All applications will be reviewed by The Communities Foundation of Oklahoma grants committee.
NAWBO Central Oklahoma Chapter is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization, but the scholarship is administerd through The Communities Foundation of Oklahoma, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and donations may be tax deductible (contact your tax advisor for more information).
