woman to Woman entrepenurial scholarship


Join with women business owners who represent various industries and range from emerging business owner to veteran entrepreneur. NOT a tips club, rather a group of women supporting women, NAWBO's Central Oklahoma Chapter has a long history of members collaborating WITH each other, supporting each other and building lasting relationships that truly assist in building their businesses.

Membership meetings are typically the first Tuesday of each month, and special annual events include:

  • Legislators' Breakfast public policy event in February
  • Spring Fling networking event in May
  • Show and Share trade show event in December
  • Annual Special Event Luncheon with nationally-recognized keynote speaker (April 17, 2008)

Mentoring Program Launched February 5, 2008!

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. prior to the Feb. 5 membership meeting, mentoring sessions are open to all members and may be particularly helpful for new members or those who are just starting their businesses, allowing them to get better acquainted with the business owners and gain business advice. For new and seasoned members alike, these discussions will be led by NAWBO members who are experienced professionals in their particular industry. Members may contact Dortha Vela and indicate interest in attending or provide input on the subjects they wish to hear discussed. Veteran members may indicate interest in facilitating discussion on a particular topic. There will be two to three subjects per meeting depending on the demand. beginning at 5:30 p.m. immediately prior to the membership meeting.
